TAR compressed with XZ/LZMA2. Excellent compression for large files.
TAR compressed with LZ4. Extremely fast decompression speed.
TAR compressed with Zstandard. Modern, fast, high ratio compression.
TAR compressed with Lzip. LZMA based with integrity checking.
TAR compressed with raw LZMA. Predecessor to XZ.
TAR compressed with Unix compress. Legacy format still found in older systems.
7-Zip format with LZMA2 compression. Often produces smaller files than ZIP.
Proprietary format by RARLAB. Common for large file distribution.

XZ/LZMA2 single file compression. High ratio, moderate speed.
Raw LZMA compression. Used internally by 7Z and XZ.
LZ4 single file compression. Optimized for decompression speed.
Zstandard compression. Facebook developed, fast with good ratios.
LZMA based compression with CRC-32 integrity checking.
